Liat Cohen is a sophomore Media Management undergraduate student at the University of Miami, minoring in Motion Pictures, Public Relations, and Psychology. Interested in publicity, marketing, advertising, social media, and event management. Seeking a future employment in the media, entertainment, and technology industries.

Cohen is a presidential merit scholar. She is the social media chair of Delta Phi Epsilon social sorority and the executive secretary of the student government. She has been on the Dean’s List for two years and President's Honor Roll this past semester.

In her freshman year, Cohen worked in entertainment marketing for the university’s Cane Records, helping singers, DJs, and other musicians from South Florida get recording deals from national music publishers. As a member of Canes Night Live, she helps plan evening entertainment events designed to show students that having a good time does not require alcohol and drug abuse.

She graduated from the Marin School of the Arts at Novato High School in Novato, Calif., in the San Francisco Bay Area. Cohen studied musical theatre and was a member of the California Scholarship Federation, a community service and honor society, for four years. She was the senior class president and founded Novato High School’s annual Fashion Show. She speaks English and Hebrew.

Cohen interned at The Big Picture, a video production company, and Marla Dell Talent Agency. She assisted the producer with managing actors’ film schedules and shadowed the director on commercial sets. At Marla Dell Talent Agency, she headed the organization of their new voice over talent division.
